About Us

Company

Our staff of licensed professionals has worked on numerous environmental projects for a diversity of clients in the past. Through this experience, we believe that we have developed mutual trust and understanding of their needs and those of their clients. Additionally, our hands-on familiarity with environmental conditions and issues in the Western region of the United States (Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Alaska, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah) developed in successful completion of over 5,000 individual projects provides a measure of assurance to our clients that work performed by us will benefit from local knowledge not generally available at reasonable cost from consultants imported from outside the region.

The firm's corporate headquarters are located in Bellevue, Washington. Additional offices are located in San Leandro, California, and The Dalles, Oregon. Principals and associates of the firm are registered professional engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, and environmental scientists.

At this writing, the Washington staff numbers approximately 45 professionals and comprises civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, chemical process engineers, geologists, geophysicists, hydrogeologists, biologists, EPA certified asbestos inspectors/management planners, and registered environmental assessors.

Environmental Associates, Inc., (EAI) typically completes approximately 400 to 500 projects per year.  ENVIRONMENTAL ASSOCIATES, INC., environmental services staff assigned to asbestos-related projects have received all necessary EPA certifications for building inspection and/or management planning, and have complied with all health and safety training requirements for working with hazardous substances required under OSHA Section 1910.120. This baseline preparation has been tempered with the experience and expertise gained on over 100 projects in which asbestos was a factor. Of perhaps equal or greater importance is the fact that the various members of our environmental services staff have broad interdisciplinary skills developed on non-asbestos hazardous waste projects. This breadth of experience has proven to be the key to development of practical solutions on numerous projects managed by our firm.
